Crimes Involving Social Media

It should go without saying that what you post online may later be used against you. Some cases involve you spouse, employer, or best friend finding your rants offensive and inappropriate. But, in more extreme cases, law enforcement might use what you publish on social media sights as criminal. This can be seen in DWI cases, where an accused posts incriminating photos moments before an arrest or in domestic cases where spouses are photographed with someone other than their spouse. Now, the highest Court in the country has decided to hear a case involving threats made on social media giant Facebook.
